Giving Thanks
At the time of year when we reflect on the bounty of summer, we would like to thank all who have generously donated to our progress.
This public garden is possible through the support of hardworking volunteers giving their time and talents, and the generous gifts of financial support from individuals in the community. To date, we have received over $20,000 in cash donations, which we have used to buy plants and pay for the big investment of site work around the library.
In 2018, we will continue our ambitious planting plan around the library and lay the foundation for the perimeter trail. Your tax deductible donations will help us secure plants for the library and materials for bridges on the perimeter path. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to this valuable community asset.
In addition to individual donors, many local contractors have made donations of time and materials, and we’d like to give a shout-out of appreciation, especially since these contractors took time from their busy summer schedules to volunteer their services.
They are:
Mystic Stonework and Natural Rhythms for the stone step path out of staff entrance. Mainescape and Fred's Wild Sods for donations of plants.
Island Tree, Meadowsweet Tree & Landscape, Safe Arbor Tree Service for remarkable tree work throughout the property.
ME Astbury for a load of good loam.
