Our News & Plans for 2020

We are excited to announce that Native Gardens of Blue Hill recently incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization and continues to grow as a unique model and resource for sustainable landscaping in our community.

It has been 5 years since Bagaduce Music offered NGBH its campus to serve as "a visible location in which we can create a public garden of native plants...to visit and view, becoming a living laboratory."  In that time, thousands of volunteer hours, numerous donations, and foundation grants have resulted in extensive plantings, an ADA-accessible path with bridges, and the beginnings of a Summerhouse and patio. Thanks to all who have contributed! View a slideshow of our accomplishments to-date.

Our fundraising goal for 2020 is $10,000.
With this money, we will expand our gardens and invest in our future.
Please consider a donation in support of our efforts!

As a special incentive, contributors of $250 or more will be invited to a small (2-3 people) Zoom Garden Clinic with NGBH co-founders Avy Claire and Cathy Rees where you can ask your garden landscape questions. Contributors of $500 or more will be offered a 1-hour on-site consultation with Avy and Cathy, who will identify opportunities for native plants in your landscape, troubleshoot problem areas, and make recommendations for sustainable landscape management.
